Tomorrow is my last day teaching yoga.

It has been a slow shift.
A gradual transition from yoga, and physical movement, to emotional embodiment and trauma healing.

Looking back now, it’s so clear that yoga was my way in.

I spent 20 years moving my body in really extreme and technical ways, so yoga made sense to me.

It was my first introduction to listening to my body.
It was the first time I heard that self-acceptance is important.
It was the first space where I could really explore the subtle body.

And now, I’m all subtle.
I still move my body in big ways,
But when it comes to teaching,
I find myself wanting to go so much slower and deeper than I used to.

And while I’ve really been able to merge yoga and embodiment practices beautifully over the last few years,
It’s time to be more direct.
To give my energy to the thing that calls to me.
Fully.

Tomorrow is my last yoga class for a while.

Otherwise,
When you join my containers you’ll get ALL the juiciness at once.
You’ll get the movement, but you’ll equally get the embodiment, the emotionality, the mental, the spiritual.

Movement will never leave me,
But teaching it in this way already has.

To all that have taken classes with me over the years- I LOVE you.
It has been such a joy to go deep with you, to share with you, to handstand with you, to yell at you for not bending your elbows in updog 😂.

To Black Dog and Yoga Vibe specifically- wow. I stayed with you the longest for a reason. You are such a huge part of how I was able to find my voice, and my calling inside of this work.
Thank you for trusting me to teach what I felt was important, and to honor the shifts as they’ve come.
