Self-sabotage is wisdom.
Self-sabotage is wisdom.
Why is that we just keep eating the cake
When we know we are not supposed to?
Why is it that we just keep dating the same people in different forms
When we know it isn’t what we want?
Why is it that we can’t seem to book enough jobs in the career that we want
When we know we can be good enough?
Should we just push ourselves more?
More discipline.
More correcting.
More misguided boundaries.
More investing in courses and tips on how to get better.
Or should we redirect.
Should we listen?
Should we maybe listen to the piece of us that says,
No. I don’t want to do that.
Should we maybe listen to the piece of us that “holds us back”?
Because
What if that piece wasn’t blocking us from our potential.
What if it wasn’t blocking us at all.
What if, actually, we were just going the wrong direction.
And that piece has been trying to tell us all along.
What if that piece is embedded with all the wisdom that is needed for the potential we seek.
What if that piece IS the potential.
The power.
The magic.
I don’t know when we are gonna stop thinking that being “happy” has something to do with pushing away pieces of ourselves,
And start realizing that we will never be happy, fulfilled, satisfied, whole...
Until we see their health.
Their intelligence.
Their offerings.
But now is a good time.
